We started our intra-class debate today finally!
Gosh, it was "nerve-racking" for me, I have never debated like this before. I'm so glad that I'm the group captain because no one can use " Point of information" on me. I would like to try experiencing that, but I wouldn't know what to answer...hehe

What do you think of the debate today?
Anything funny?
Your feelings?

It was fun that Mr. Bogart forced us to make the points of information... hehe
Also, I think that we need to make the points of information being really specific, if not, the speaker won't understand what are we asking, maybe we need to prepare well for the points of information in the inter class debate.
And I think that being the captain is good because as Peggy said, there's no points of information to them.
Anyway, we learnt a lot throught today's debate..

I was so nervous when I was delivering my speech today... but it's good that I am the captin and no " point of information " is allowed. And that relaxed me a bit. =] I am wondering how nervous will the speakers be when there is " point of information " and questions are being raised to them,,,, and they have to answer it within a short period of time.

Yea, I was a little bit nervous when there are points of information, but luckily, my groupmates helped me a lot...
Also, I forget some points after answering the points of information.... because this really interruped me!!
And I think that 2 minutes is too short for us to give a speech, I need to cut down my speech for a half!!!

I think that maybe you can give some of the information to the captin because it seems that nearly all the captins have finished their speeches before the bell rings. So as me .... =]

Post  Mr.Bogart Tue Feb 26, 2008 8:07 pm

Maybe we should make the captain the 1st speaker tomorrow...just for fun? Would you like that captains?

You all did very well but we have to work out the points of information more but we have lots of time. Well kinda.

I can totally feel how nervous and how scare were others be.
I think I will be really nervous when I stand in front of the desk and the bell "ting".
Hope I can do well in tmr's debate,
and plz, can the time be slower? Mad
( I am so glad that I don't have to ans "point of information"! Cool

I was absolutely nervous about tomorrow's debate against my close relative (Peggy) and I am afraid that I can't think of the answer of Mr. Bogart's "Point Of Information" in such a sudden way. What can I do if I really forget about my speech after I answer the question??! pale

Well...there is really nothing to talk about for the captins....cause we have leave all the important points to the first speaker, second speaker and the third speaker.
