The Reading Log
It's hard to do the reading log! Especially the poetic devices.... Hope that I can catch the technique on how to write it and finished it earlier!
How about you? How are you doing with the reading log, what do you think?

LOL helen, if you want to look for similies, you can scan through the pages and look for the word "like" or "as" i think that is easier. Or maybe you can copy the poetic devices down on a piece a paper when you are reading the book!

There is some really beautiful imagery in the book. I like the the metaphor about heaven. It is really beautiful.

Re: The Reading Log
I think that the reading log is takes a long time to do it in detail. But it sure helps me to remember things that happen in the book that are important becaues I have recorded them in the reading log!

Re: The Reading Log
I agree with Helen that it's really hard to do the reading log, but I do think that a reading log will help me to develope my interest of reading this book, so let's try hard and get the work done!

Really the reading log is really hard to do..the most differcult part is the poetic device i agree what helen said..
i havent finish chapter 12 of the poetic device till now=[[ is there any more poetic device that can choose to do them... if i scan the page .its more easier, but sometimes there are no simile in the chapter. How to finish ar>3<

Yes, the reading log is really a difficult task! I can't even spoy out the poetic devices in 3-4 of the chapters... and it consumes a lot of time!

Re: The Reading Log
I feel hard when I am doing my reading log. It is easy to write the events and activities but no Annika's change and the poetic devices..... I like to read the book though(:

Re: The Reading Log
Um...I think the poetic devices are the most difficult to find,
and also the changes and developments of Annika.
I spent my whole night last weekend to finsh it!
Very tired now......
But seems that I am now more familiar in this book
