The Reading Log Empty The Reading Log

Post  English Addict - Helen Wed Jan 23, 2008 6:16 pm

It's hard to do the reading log! Especially the poetic devices.... Hope that I can catch the technique on how to write it and finished it earlier!
How about you? How are you doing with the reading log, what do you think?

LOL helen, if you want to look for similies, you can scan through the pages and look for the word "like" or "as" i think that is easier. Or maybe you can copy the poetic devices down on a piece a paper when you are reading the book!

There is some really beautiful imagery in the book. I like the the metaphor about heaven. It is really beautiful.

I think that the reading log is takes a long time to do it in detail. But it sure helps me to remember things that happen in the book that are important becaues I have recorded them in the reading log!

I agree with Helen that it's really hard to do the reading log, but I do think that a reading log will help me to develope my interest of reading this book, so let's try hard and get the work done! Smile

Yes, the reading log is really a difficult task! I can't even spoy out the poetic devices in 3-4 of the chapters... and it consumes a lot of time! Neutral

I feel hard when I am doing my reading log. It is easy to write the events and activities but no Annika's change and the poetic devices..... I like to read the book though(:

Um...I think the poetic devices are the most difficult to find,
and also the changes and developments of Annika.
I spent my whole night last weekend to finsh it!
Very tired now...... Embarassed
But seems that I am now more familiar in this book Laughing
